Staff Member/Program Highlight: Pamela Howard

This month's Team Member and Program Spotlight is on Pamela Howard, S/T, M.S. and our Medical Services Unit!
Pamela is both a Clinician and Hospital Liaison at New Horizons. In her own words, here's what she has to say about her position:
"My favorite aspect of working in my program is the opportunity to engage with individuals and their families. They rely on me to minimize any barriers to receiving timely and effective treatment and care. In my roles as a Hospital Liaison and Clinician, I educate and guide recent hospital discharges through the process and act as a conduit between doctors, clinicians, and patients to ensure clear and effective communication. As a Hospital Liaison, my role is to offer hope and support."
We are so thankful to have Pamela's passion and work ethic as part of our team and we can't wait to see how she grows in her new role as our Hospital Liaison. When Pamela is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and serving her community in any way she can.
